i am definitely getting older……
Both of my sister are married and one of them is going to have a baby pretty soon, that means my parents are going to have a grand daughter and I am going to be an aunt.
wow.
It’s a bit scary though coz i feel like i’m left behind, stuck, not knowing what i’m going to do in the future (especially after i graduate -_-), while they already see the path in front of them. And seeing that some of my friends that already got their job interviews or accepted in the degree program, i shiver from the fact that i’m steps behind.
I’m not saying that the current dance scene is not good, but the old time dance have this charm that’s just so different. And i just can’t imagine how tiring it is to keep your body straight while tapping your feet. Awesome!
The movie was somewhat charming, i don’t know how to explain, i mean for me, the story is pretty simple, but it’s just so….dreamy. And also, i feel like i went through a brief art history, getting to know names like the Fitzgeralds, Hemingway (though i’ve heard this first from Hana Yori Dango - yeah, totally wrong source), Gertrude Stein, etc, although i’m very sure i will never read their books as i always fall asleep after reading a few lines from book’s first page.
One thing that i want to say is….you know Hemingway has some kind of charms in the movie? (or is it just me??) Well he goes from to this
.( this is called: reality check)
But in reality, Hemingway was handsome when he was young ![]()
Though he looks just normal in later years. Too bad that he did suicide. What’s scary is that it seems the suicide attempt runs in his family blood as his sister and brother also did it.
Oh well, that’s the past.
I think i may watch this movie again sometimes soon.
And i will start praying that i have a chance to go to Paris one day. ahahahaha….
Suddenly i was wondering if this actually happens to me in Jakarta, the 20s period will be the batavia period, then the Belle Epoque period, Jakarta, or Indonesia to be more precise, was still under Dutch government. And if, i go back as far as the renaissance period….i would live in a place called Sunda Kelapa, a port under Pajajaran Kingdom. Why it doesn’t sound as cool as Paris? Hahahahhahahaha….
